Master Class
On Saturday Nov 2nd The Dance Space took a Master Class with Amelia Collins, formally of the NYC Knicks City Dancers!! The talented dancer taught an inspirational class to our students! She shared her talent, wisdom and passion for dance with us all. It was a truly magical experience which included fierce and fabulous choreography. The class took place at TDS studios!
\We are constantly looking to introduce our Performance Troupe Dancers to new and exciting choreography, dance styles and experiences.

Amelia Collins Bio:
Amelia Collins -NYC Knicks City Dancer for the 2024 season. She is a very accomplished dancer and performer. Started dancing at a young age and later moving to NY to pursue her career. In addition, Ms. Collins was crowned Miss New York in June 2023. Amelia is an advocate for her personal Community Service Initiative: POWHER, Promoting Women's Health as an Entitled Right. She currently works with the organization For Women By Women Period to end period poverty in New York City. Amelia has also been pursuing a BS in Biology and Public at New York University with dreams of obtaining her Doctor of Medicine Degree and becoming a Pediatric Oncologist. Collins is more than a student and an advocate; she is also a professional dancer trained in Ballet, Hip-Hop, Street Jazz, and performance.

PT Dancers are NOT a competitive team. PT are classes that are offered in the studio to all dancers. When you register for PT class you are given an opportunity to perform at local events, recitals, community events and enjoy our workshops. Workshops are when we invite "celebrity" guest teachers to the studio for a private intensive. Some of our past workshops include...The NY JETS, NY KNICKS, Alvin Ailey Workshop, New York City Ballet Master Class, Joffrey Master Class, Martha Graham Master Class, NY Brooklynettes , Rockettes Dance Workshop, Grandma the Clown from the BIG APPLE Circus , A Master class with the Cast of Broadway's "Mean Girls!" a master class with BROADWAY Choreographer Stephanie Klemmons from "Bring it On!" and a Master Class with the a cast member from Broadway's Hamilton!
We believe that it dancing is an art and encourage our dancers to feel the same! The only competition we believe in is with yourself
